Sounds
Do you see the sounds?
Can you see the vibrations,
Soft as silk,
Rough as the sea,
Looking at each other.
Can you see the sounds,
See them shimmering in the breeze,
Soft as down,
Rough as the wind,
Chasing each other around.
Do you see the sounds,
See their wonderous forms,
Soft as a baby,
Rough as a diamond,
The sounds they are everywhere.
To see them you must hear them,
To hear them you must feel,
The softness,
The roughness,
Of the sounds that make this world real.
When you see a sound,
It makes you part of its image,
Soft as love,
Rough as hate,
Can you imagine silence?
Let your eyes see,
That which can only be heard,
Soft as light,
Rough as the dark,
Reverberate around your mind.
Let the sounds of life be,
that which you can see,
Soft as sunshine,
Rough as the storm,
Can you see the silence?
Can you see the changes,
Taking place as it echos off the ground?
Soft as snow,
Rough as sleet,
The sounds of life beating deep.
I hope that now you can see,
The sounds that make up life,
Soft as satin,
Rough as tweed,
The sights of sounds are in your mind.
