Elements
The fires of autumn
are amongst the trees
Flashing in the
bare hedgerows as I pass
in and out, and
the grey mists surround them.
By the shallow
pool
Small fires burn
leaves
The willows reflect
their long stems
in the flooded
Fields. Mutual recognition
Spirit and fire,
spirit and water
illumine, reflect.
over the dark earth
The air exhales.
