I would give you more if I could, But I'm in need myself, Shattered and battered, depressed as hell, You give me light, hope, and support, When I need it most. And what is the most beautiful thing, Is that your giving is totally natural, Oblivious. It's like breathing, you just do it. The Irony is that your need is greater than mine, You just ignore it, you grin and bear it, you Wear it like a second skin. I can almost hear you crying in the night in your pain, And don't know how you can possibly greet the dawn, With the joy you express in every moment of your life. Here, take my pizza, pathetic gift that it is, At the very least, it will feed that great soul of yours.
