Wild Flowers in my Garden
Across scrambling speedwell
Fireweed piggybacks periwinkle
Past giggling red poppy
On a summer breeze
Behind tall goosegrass
Mandrake and hemlock
Practice magic
On a purple fleabane
Dandelion holds buttercup
Seeing honesty and sorrel
Chase butterflies in-between
Handsome spikes of foxglove
In the cool of evening
Ragwort kisses snapdragon
While chicory and clover
Laugh quietly nearby.
