A Short History of Religion

God sparked Adam to slip
through a glass lightly
incensed by censor of frankincense
smoke incessant wisped through
Christian brotherhood
seeded with its own traitor
crossfooted with a balance of blood
from Peter's inverted cross
the lion cried time at the Hun
raped nun in sackcloth and
the end of the end is begun

Bowden's Axiom:
"Only those who believe that mankind is descended from apes are."
