Cobb Valley & Power Station

      Opening their treasures
                               your silken mountain tops
                      pleasured
                               the kissing clouds.
        We marvelled where
                          your marbled mountains
                                                loomed over
        your cruel glacier carved lake.

                           There, lowering waters
                                                 brood over
        your mainbraced, tail-raced
                                   enraptured power
                encaptured
                          in line
                                 for generations.
        We stalked,
                   tramped
                          and walked
                                    your mountain crests,
        kept in mind
                    your quartz and gold
                                        enrolled
              in stark beauty
                               forever
                                        lost.
