The First of our Retrospectives comes from
EDDIE KYLE
who was posting on Scribble before I even heard of a modem. His is
one of those BBSs which has recently 'bitten the dust' but his intention
is to keep posting via other boards.
We've followed his adventures, pleasures and sorrows for a long while
now. He is a well known Auckland BBS identity always ready to offer a helping
hand, technical advice, or plain, old fashioned company. No one who ever
saw it will forget his delivery of his own poems two Novembers ago. Was
it really so long ago?
He chose and set his own poems, and can be rightly proud of his work.
It is hoped that this area will eventually contain excerpts from Scribble:
The Books and archives from past years in the Echo. Already planned and
in some cases close to publication, are the Retrospective songs of Ted
Chapman, Copyright permission has been granted by Terry Bowden,
Alys Thorpe, and from Jamie Walker the selection process continues.
